About

Two instruments. One dancefloor.

Rhea Sarkar is a DJ and live percussionist. She plays darbuka and hand percussion live over her own DJ sets, layering real drums onto the music so the room hears — and sees — something no playlist can deliver.

Her sets read the crowd first: easy grooves while guests arrive, then percussion-led peaks once the floor fills. The darbuka moments are the ones guests film, and the ones clients remember.

Most of her work is corporate — annual days, product launches, offsites and brand parties — booked through event management companies who need an act that arrives prepared, runs to the minute and gives their client a highlight.
